Your spine has an incredible capacity to act both like a stiff rod and a bendable rope. In this session we bring attention to this functionality of the spine as we move through different exercises and positions.
Grab your dumbbells and get into this strength workout. You will work triceps and shoulders together with your core. We finish with some lower body coupled with upper body moves. FUN!
The last live Stretch Flow class! So it was fitting to do what I'd call a Full Body Rinse to get the mind and body feeling flowy to end your Sunday. I can hardly believe it's been 2 years of Sunday Stretch Flow! Enjoy!
Today we take the time to bring our awareness to the pelvic floor and core. We try to connect our brain to that part of the body as we move and try to understand how it works. Truly a marvelous part of body that we need to honour with understanding and awareness.
A bodyweight workout where there is quite a bit of time loading up the upper body using your shoulders and wrists. It's a full body mat pilates workout!
Get your resistance band ready for a strength workout designed for your posterior chain- your back and glutes in particular. There are 3 separate sets each with exercises that we repeat within each set. You'll love the resistance that the band offers you and don't forget you can lessen the resistance by changing your grip on the band.
A slow flow to help you relax. In fact, learning how to relax your muscles is just as important as learning how to activate them. In this session, we honour the relaxation phase by giving ourselves the the time we need and just letting ourselves breathe and melt into the mat. Let it go!
A nice slow flow which is a bit of a "mash up" between a Pilates Basics class and a Stretch Flow. Good for when you need to find your "flow state" but want to still work a little.
