Modern Movement at Stefitness brings together various movement modalities including mat pilates, mobility training, strength work, foot work, yoga and restorative practice to create a unique and refreshing way of moving your body, leaving you feeling both confident and strong.

Your core is both capable and responsible of so much more than simply sit ups. That's why there's not a sit up in sight in this workout. It's all about using the core in different positions and understanding how. It's not always about the burn either- but we do need control. Slow and controlled always wins the race in pilates.

Grab your block- we're going to work one half of the body at a time. It's an extra long sequence that we do all on one side first, then we flip and do the other- purely for hips and shoulders both of which are ball and socket joints. This will leave you feeling warm and buttery!

Sometimes it's the small, boring work that matters more. This is the stuff that will allow you to do the bigger, better and more interesting things. You'll need a mini band, a rolled up towel and some toe spacers if you have them. We work on quality movement from the ground up. It's the work we shouldn't neglect.

Stefitness was established in 2020 in Portarlington, Victoria during the Covid-19 lockdowns. In this time Steph saw the need to shift to online training to make movement accessible for people at home.
From here the online platform has grown and flourished into being what it is now- a thorough online workout library for YOU to workout safely, conveniently & intelligently from home. Smart, modern movement.
In addition, in person classes have also grown in size and popularity.
Steph is a certified Pilates Instructor, Women's Health & Performance Coach, Pre & Post Natal Trainer, Running Coach & is dedicated to continued professional learning to benefit YOU.
