Grab a light dumbbell and get on the mat. This workout is designed to work the endurance capacity of your muscles. With a light weight we work through a range of movements to work the whole body.
We use the block today for a full body workout which includes plenty of work for the obliques (side core) muscles. A true pilates feel to this workout which I just love.
The name says it all really- it's all about the hamstring muscles today. We often just want to stretch the hammies, but its super important to recognise the value of strengthening them!
A strength workout mainly for the upper body, although the lower body gets a small look in too. Have different weight options available. This will feel like a strong gym workout!
A fun cardio conditioning workout to get that heart rate up! We don't use the kettlebell for every move, but you will feel the intensity in the swings and squats.
A mobility workout that must be prioritised! We look at the various ways your hip joint and shoulder joint were designed to move and how to keep them happy and healthy long term.
The whole day can be worked so well using back to basic moves. It's a slow burn today, for the core, glutes, back and calves.
A Whole Body Flow which will challenge the core, glutes and shoulders in varying positions holding up your bodyweight. As always, slow and controlled wins the race in this pilates class!
