I've called this class Pilates 101 because it includes those typical pilates moves that I love and are so effective- hundreds, clams, donkey kicks, swan etc. All at an easy to follow and cruisey pace. Perfect for beginners or those that just want to slow it down a bit.
We twist and lengthen our thorax all the way through this session and we get some inner thigh releasing too. Dreamy. Try it. You'll see.
A basics workout to challenge your upper body, in particular your triceps and shoulders. Look out for the second side plank on the right side (you'll get to you work it hard!) and don't forget to add the leg circles- you'll know what I mean when you get there!!
A demanding workout for your core today- because everything is core work! We work in different positions today- side, supine, prone and finally standing.
Welcome Flick! A very experienced and amazing personal trainer located on the Bellarine Penisula. So happy to have Flick join us on the platform. In this short tutorial Flick will take you through 4 back exercises. These are moves we often neglect and are often carried out incorrectly. They will help you achieve a strong back and posture!
Get your Pilates Ring out and lets work our entire body! The ring helps activate muscles depending on how it's used and will also help you "centre". It's all about concentrating through the moves and performing the reps mindfully!
Ramp up your morning routine with this short workout, designed to get your body moving and blood flowing to start off your day. Slot it in somewhere before or after your coffee- whenever works best for you. And the amazing thing is it's only 10 minutes long, so it won't take a big chunk out of your morning!
In this workout we combine all the moves that we have been working on in the Pilates For Runners Series over the last 7 weeks. You will work your core, glutes, back and legs for an awesome full body workout that will complement your running beautifully.
