Working your core is not just about doing sit ups and curls. It's also about controlling it and using it via other other moves. And that's exactly what we explore today. As a result you'll get that core burn that everyone loves!!
My new FAVE workout! It's all about the hip flexors, in particular the Psoas. Strength in this area is integral to overall hip health and function. The Psoas muscle is such a wonderful muscle connecting the upper body with the lower body. Make you get this workout done, I hope you love it as much as I do!
The last of the postural awareness classes for the week. This class focuses on opening through the chest and we talk about how this can contribute to your overall posture. And you'll need some wall space to do wall angels at the end!
The second of the postural awareness workouts to get you thinking about how your spine and pelvis contribute to your posture. We look at alignment of the head and upper back strength.
The first of the postural classes for the week- this class will get you thinking about where your head is sitting in space and how this affects your overall posture.
We take the time to lengthen some fascial tissue in this workout and then we get into some PAILS and RAILS (strengthening) for the hip capsule and the neck. A great way to start the weekend!
Only a couple of light dumbbells are required for this class. We work the triceps in various ways to target each of the three muscles behind the upper arm. There will be a bit of tricep burn and fatigue for sure! Hope you love it!
Purely for the lower body- we get all the gluteus fibers working- the max, med & min glute muscles. For maximum workload use a mini band, but everything can easily be done without. At the end I introduce PAILS & RAILS.
